Olive Oil Dip Recipes

Chances are that you’ve been in at least one Italian restaurant that offers a great olive oil dip that you really wanted the recipe for. If you’re looking for such a recipe and the Italian restaurant won’t give you their olive oil dip recipe, try one of these, you won’t be sorry.

Some forms of olive oil such as virgin or extra virgin olive oil have more monounsaturated fat than regular olive oil. The EVOO and virgin olive oils contain more polyphenols which are known to lead to a healthier heart as well as lower “bad” cholesterol. But we both know this isn’t what you’re thinking of when we’re dipping fresh baked bread in a saucer of olive oil dip!

Consider the following olive oil recipes for your olive oil diet intake.

ROASTED RED PEPPER OLIVE OIL DIP

Ingredients – 1/2 cup olive oil and 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, drained

These are just a few of the many dip recipes available that include olive oil. Be selective when choosing the type of olive oil you will use as some types offer better nutritional benefits than others. In most cases, the cold pressed olive oil will not destroy the vitamins, enzymes, and minerals found in fresh organic olives. To add an even ore pizazz to your olive oil dip recipe, try using flavored olive oil. I certainly like the olive oil and rosemary herb flavored oil. Try your favorite to see what you can come up with!

So, happy dipping and enjoy!
